New Program at Ren's House

In January as part of our heart healthy theme, Ren’s House began implementing the Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care (NAP SACC) program. This program helps early care and education programs improve their nutrition and physical activity practices. The children at Ren’s House are learning to eat healthier and learning the importance of daily exercise.  After completing an assessment and establishing classroom goals, Ren’s House received equipment and learning materials to help implement positive changes in the classroom. The children have been enjoying the scooters, balance beam, hopscotch rug, and various other learning materials. For more information about NAP SACC visit
